Taylin is a Merman, a frightful small merman that lived deep in the corals of his home but still on the outskirts of the city unable to pay his rent due to lacking work and his paranoia. He has always been scared of the deep ocean due to losing his family in a large netting incident when he was 14. Now he is 24. Doing questionable jobs, he runs into a shark folk in an illegal trade centre. Who is loud, proud and tends to be over the top due to his instincts. Unfortunately, good things don’t last forever. Soon, humans start taking more than they should. The humans are the biggest problem to the ocean; no other creature could match their destruction. But, maybe all of them aren't bad?

He doesn't take them the first night, he plays around with them watching their reactions, disturbing their dreams, making them want him, he looks around the city looking for his meals, once he gets sight of a young male, there is nothing that can disturb him. He feeds off their pleasure in their dreams or in person, that's how he stays young looking 26 years old, when really, he is 350 years old, living alone and having no friends makes the job easier because he doesn't have to lie to anyone. Zane hasn't fed for a while, which ends up leading him to Kieran, a seemingly perfect human who could do no wrong, looking like a complete angel. But what if Kieran starts acting differently around Zane after their first night together. More possessive, more obsessed with Zane?

He is thrown into the system that the humans had made, the Demon Arenas, forcing demons to fight their own kind or creatures for basic needs such as food, clothing or a simple shower. A few years later, Daniela was born into this new world, a simple human girl forced to go in place of another family member to protect them. Now being of legal age, she has chosen to switch with their family member, Daniela became a "handler" for Varek. Will either one accept this? Will Varek kill Daniela outright out of anger, or will they learn to get along due to their situations?

Yet no police have been called on him. Can the Talen find out who is doing all these things? Will he even do something about it?

A Dragon Rider story, the main character was a very well known rider in the country, saving the cities from demons that had threatened to overthrow the royal kingdom. Sacrificing themselves for their country, fortunately their dragon survives whilst they do not. Now reborn, many years later they attend the same school in order to get money to help their parents with basic needs. The dragon has not had a rider for those many years, each year the dragons and riders came together, the dragon refused, with the great dragon refusing to fight or even move from his cave the threat of the demons has risen again, that is until the main character comes back and the dragon can smell their previous rider. Does the main character remember? Will they accept their fate? How will they react to bonding with such a great dragon?
