Focus on authenticity, detail, and storytelling through clothing.

Who Can Join: Anyone
Dates: 1st June to 30th June

 

Submission Guidelines - Accepted Formats:

• Digital art

• Traditional art

• Mixed media

• Costume concept art

 

Limits:

• One character per submission

• Attire must be clearly inspired by a real culture or historical period

• Reference notes encouraged but optional

 

Focus Areas:

• Accuracy of garments and accessories

• Cultural or historical context

• Color, texture, and pattern

• Storytelling through clothing

 

How to Join:

1. Create your piece based on a chosen culture or period

2. Upload to #cultural-costume-june-event in our Discord

3. Include Cultural Costume June Event in the title

 

Features and Rewards:

• Selected entries featured on the Events page

• Highlighted in a Lore Showcase post

• Top entries promoted on social media

• All creators keep full ownership

 

Rules:

• Original work only

• Respect cultural sensitivity and avoid stereotypes

• Respect all participants

• No hate or harassment

• Must sign your work

• Keep content SFW and non triggering

 

How to Vote:

Voting opens during the final week of June.
React to the submissions you like most.
Pick your top three.
You cannot vote for your own work.

 

After the Event:

• All submissions remain visible and credited

• Event archive created for reference and inspiration

• Strong entries considered for future features
