Create a monster recognizable through its shape alone.
Focus on strong, readable silhouettes without internal details.

Who Can Join: Anyone
Dates: 1st August to 31st August

Submission Guidelines - Accepted Formats:

  • Digital art

  • Traditional art

  • Creature concept sketches

 

Limits:

  • One monster per submission

  • No internal lines or textures inside the silhouette

  • Side view or dynamic pose recommended

 

Focus Areas:

  • Clear, distinctive shapes

  • Readable anatomy and posture

  • Convey character or threat through outline

  • Visual storytelling using only form

 

How to Join:

  1. Create a silhouette of your monster

  2. Upload to #creature-silhouette-august-event in our Discord

  3. Include Creature Silhouette August Event in the title

 

Features and Rewards:

  • Selected entries featured on the Events page

  • Editorial pick feature for outstanding silhouettes

  • Top entries promoted on social media

  • All creators keep full ownership

  • Original work only

  • Respect all participants

  • No hate or harassment

  • Must sign your work

  • Keep content SFW and non triggering

Voting opens during the final week of August.

Pick your top three.
You cannot vote for your own work.

 

After the Event:
