UnderCurrent

Taylin is a Merman, a frightful small merman that lived deep in the corals of his home but still on the outskirts of the city unable to pay his rent due to lacking work and his paranoia. He has always been scared of the deep ocean due to losing his family in a large netting incident when he was 14. Now he is 24.

Doing questionable jobs, he runs into a shark folk in an illegal trade centre. Who is loud, proud and tends to be over the top due to his instincts. Unfortunately, good things don’t last forever. Soon, humans start taking more than they should. The humans are the biggest problem to the ocean; no other creature could match their destruction. But, maybe all of them aren't bad?

Blood of the Fallen

When unexplained destruction spreads across the country, most people watch from a distance and keep living as normal. He a quiet researcher obsessed with patterns and facts, starts noticing details others ignore as the news grows darker by the day. Towns vanish overnight. People go missing. The attacks only happen after sunset. When night finally reaches the city, bloodthirsty bat-like creatures emerge and turn streets into slaughter zones.

With no powers and no preparation, they are silent survivalists are forced to move from building to building, fighting with whatever they find, getting injured, bleeding, and losing people along the way. The military collapses.

The city dies. Survival becomes brutal and short lived. Small moments exist, but fear, blood, and instinct rule the night, leading to a final choice where escape no longer exists and the world decides to erase everything left behind.

Incubus

Zane sleeps most of the day, and works throughout the night, he is an incubus, the one that takes ones energy by sexual pleasure. He only goes for the young souls under 30, because the young are full of life. He doesn't take them the first night, he plays around with them watching their reactions, disturbing their dreams, making them want him, he looks around the city looking for his meals, once he gets sight of a young male, there is nothing that can disturb him.

He feeds off their pleasure in their dreams or in person, that's how he stays young looking 26 years old, when really he is 350 years old, living alone and having no friends makes the job easier because he doesn't have to lie to anyone.

Zane hasn't fed for a while, which ends up leading him to Kieran, a seemingly perfect human who could do no wrong, looking like a complete angel. But, what if Kieran starts acting differently around Zane after their first night together. More possessive, more obsessed with Zane?
