Team Projects

Payment System

General payout rules. Revenue only pays out on released chapters. Each chapter locks its split at release. Tracking happens per chapter, not per series. Payouts run on a set schedule, monthly or per platform cycle. Platform fees and hosting costs come out first.

Who gets paid

  • Character artist.
  • Background artist.
  • Writers

Payment

Revenue from a chapter is collected. Costs are deducted first. Remaining revenue splits by the agreed percentages. Percentages apply only to work used in released chapters.

Example. A chapter earns $100 after fees. Character artist gets $40. Background artist gets $30. Writer gets $25. Project lead gets $5.

If someone leaves. They keep earnings from chapters already released for the next 6 months to make it fair on what they have made. They receive payouts only for chapters using their work.

No payment for chapters released after leaving. Replacement members earn from their first released chapter onward.
